This website is dedicated to the Welsh Chess Premier League. It is intended as a quick reference guide solely for this competition.

The WCPL Returns
The Welsh Chess Premier League returns for the 2011/12 season, bolstered by some additional teams.
Captains are advised to check the fixtures and rules for any and all changes.
Due to the introducton of two new teams; Newport and White Knights - there will be additional rounds of play this year. Some dates for the WCPL rounds have been published in this year's WCU handbook. Due to the printing deadline and team entry confirmation any addional dates will not have been printed.
Therefore, please check the league schedule listed immediately below the league table.
There is plenty of time for team Captains to get organised and arrange the matches for the coming season.
The WCPL will be FIDE rated this year.

Games
I have not been receiving game scoresheets, that can be reproduced for the website. It is important that Captains (or their appointee) contact me regularly so that I can update the game database.
I can accept scoresheets of this years games either by mail (you'll need to contact me for my postal address), or via email as a .pgn file.
The games section of this website is somewhat incomplete, with many games missing as Captains have failed to send me details of the games.
By visiting the games section of the website it is easy to workout which ones are missing. I would be grateful, if the missing games could be sent to me in de course.
Match Card
The match card is being amended to included places for grades and other relevant information. Please remember to complete this accurately..
